Hi Mom. Today was hard to motivate myself to go workout. Mainly because my bestest friend, Emily (who is known from my Disney Birthday blog), gifted me the Dragon Age Inquisition Game of year Edition last night and I've been very much wanting to play it since class ended for the week. I will note she gifted me this awesome game (and all the DLCs and bundles included) because I've been mooching off of her Origin account for the past month since Bioware didn't release that DLC I was raving out for the older generation consoles (xbox 360 and ps3). Don't even get me started on that rant. And with me mooching off of her online account, any time she wanted to get on she couldn't since I was on. And since she's quite the non-confrontational sort, she decided to buy me my own instead of asking me to get my butt off her Origin account. ANYWAYS. Volunteer Orientation at HSSC

Hi Mom. I may have mentioned last month - to you and Jason mostly - that I sent in an application to volunteer at the Humane Society of Sarasota County. It had been something I'd been thinking about doing since coming to Ringling, mainly because of the lack of animal socialization I receive living in a dorm on a college campus. When I started baby-talking to the local squirrels before winter break, I knew something needed to change. Then, Katy passed away. It's easy to not think about it, especially when I'm so far away and in a place I would never associate Katy with. Katy wasn't a part of my Ringling experience. She was the thing I got to see when I flew home for holidays/breaks. She wasn't here she was there...now she's...not. But now that she's gone I'd do anything to make it so she was. The Johns' Wedding

Hi Mom. FINALLY. My first adult wedding as an adult (my last one was when I was very very young and was the flower girl I have zero memory of that day). And man. I did not expect to be a wedding crier. But the moment they were both down the aisle and the vows started I was a goner. To be fair I'd been pretty emotionally compromised because I was beyond happy to be holding hands with my love while watching two of my favorite people, who I consider family, finally get to celebrate their love and lives with their friends and family. It was just really beautiful and I'm so lucky to have been invited. After a month of working out I do feel pretty good about my progress. While I haven't lost any weight I have lost some inches pretty much everywhere. Proof: I found this dress at Goodwill about 4 months ago specifically for the wedding and it was close to not fitting at that point (very tight) but it's Goodwill. When you find a nice dress that MOSTLY fits you usually buy it...
